This piece handles wrestling well. When handling religious imagery especially it can be very easy to fall into traps, trying to relieve tension. What I appreciate about this piece is that it never does, and that's what makes the story and characters feel real. I also love the small surreal touches. Still pondering whether that turkey vulture actually tried to eat the gun and why.
Also, threatening to fill someone's computer with nutella is one of the best things I've heard in years. I'll remember that one.
