We wish Gabo a very happy 99th birthday and welcome all of you to send us your stories, essays, and flash pieces starting right now! Though the official reading period closes at midnight tonight (est), we will have a grace period of several hours for those in a different timezone. Still, if you’ve got a piece even somewhat ready, we encourage you to send it in sooner than later because this is a lightning-fast open call.
