Quick question on the flash CNF. The post says 1,500 word limit, but the submission portal says 1,000 words. Mine has around 1280 words, so I crossed my fingers and submitted it.
Hi, do you mean up to 10,000 words for the essay/narrative nonfiction? It says up to 10,00 words? I have an essay that was published on someone's Substack.
Fixed the type, thanks for catching it. It's up to 10k for long form writing. And the guidelines also state that no previously published work unless it's on your own substack

Should get to know him more, it's my birthday too tomorrow...
a wonderful day to be born!
Guess I'm late... 😞
How do I find my submission? Or rejection, rather? 😀
Thank you for this! My first submission. I probably come across as an enthu-cutlet, but I am quite kicked!
Do we just email the piece to you as an attachment?
Nope, read the post
You don't specify if there's an entry fee. That's important to know, and what's the maximum amount of entries?
Hi René, we cleary say it's a free reading period. :)
Yes, my apologies. I read that after clicking on the link. 🤗
