Such an interesting piece and remembering that Mr. Potato head started as pieces to put on an actual potato 😂 beautiful piece!

This is fantastic. I love how much depth and meaning you are able to produce with this micro. A micro master class.

Meg is the best! Loved her story, and thank you for including her contributor's note where we get a deeper look into the story's creation.

Nice one, Meg. Apparently, you narrowly escaped being politically correct. Haha.

Thanks! Happy Lochs!

Terrific. At first I was afraid this was about gender as it did become a topic for the politically correct. But no! A delightful, insightful miniature gem. Thank you. BTW, here's my response to those days: https://youtu.be/VzCnz6Dms4M

A delight. Fun and disturbing! Innocent and painful! I’ll be left with this tactile imagery for a while.

Great piece. I remember watching Toy Story 300 times with my kids. Mr Potato Head was all those great good things. Thanks for reminding me how potent this viewpoint can be, Meg.

Thanks so much Liesl!

At first I was like what is this, but by the end I enjoyed it so much. I even got sad it was only 300 words.

I guess I’m the fool for not understanding the connection to the prompt. Beautiful piece but who’s the fool?

Great story. Complicated, serious, playful. Glad I read it!

Meg, this is fabulous. I especially enjoyed the part showing what Anya would do when she was angry. Very compelling narrative and great information shared through the author’s note. Congratulations!

Congratulations, Meg! Such a fun, twisted story. I’m in awe of the way you weave something sweet and seemingly simple into something quite painful.
